About Us The United Consumer Advocacy Network, LLC ("UCAN") was formed in 2001 by experienced industry veterans to offer advocacy support and services for clients of debt relief companies. UCAN serves the needs of debt relief companies and their clients as they face the growing problem of abusive and harassing practices of creditors and debt collectors. On June 1, 2005, UCAN and Partners for Fair Debt Collections (PFDC), a leading consumer advocacy company, joined forces to form a new and improved consumer advocacy company - a new UCAN. This will greatly improve UCAN's ability to identify collection trends and will give us a greater voice when talking with creditors and collectors.
